Treating both acute and chronic conditions, Naturopathic treatments are chosen based on the individual patient – their physiological, structural, psychological, social, spiritual, environment and lifestyle factors. Manual Osteopathy

Manual Osteopathic Therapy is a manual holistic therapy used to affect all layers of the body, where the body is considered as a whole interrelated system. It is the person that is treated, not diseases or medical pathologies. Treatment is customized to each individual patient, where the mind, body and soul of the person is also considered throughout.

Through manual Osteopathic manipulation, motion, circulation and fluid flow can improve via addressing the various layers of the body, as well as the nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics, allowing for balance to be restored within the body.

Why Choose Manual Osteopathy?

Manual Osteopathy treatments are individualized and can benefit the fascial tissue, musculoskeletal system, the bony ligamentous layer, the surrounding tissue that houses the visceral organs and the pathways of the nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels. The treatment itself aims to be relaxing and once treatment has been delivered, the body can then adapt to any changes that have been made.

Please note: For Osteopathic treatments, all patients are asked to be fully clothed in a t-shirt and comfortable pants that are easy to move in. Thank you.

At The Clinic YYC, the goal of every treatment is to restore and bring balance to the body to facilitate its own natural ability to heal itself.

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours. More than 1 million men and women annually choose this popular facial rejuvenation treatment, which can be a cost-effective way to look younger without surgery or downtime.

Unlike injectable fillers, which restore volume under the skin, BOTOX® is a purified protein that works by relaxing the tiny facial muscles that contract and cause facial lines and creases called dynamic wrinkles. When administered by a skilled injector, BOTOX® corrects these wrinkles and lines, allowing them to smooth out gradually.

Rebecca Kelley’s journey into Chinese medicine began at a local acupuncture clinic here in Calgary. Captivated by the ancient practices that she found so much relief in, she returned to that clinic throughout that summer and in the fall she decided to pursue a path in traditional Chinese medicine. She moved to Victoria, BC and enrolled at Pacific Rim College. She immersed herself in the study of ancient texts, learning about the delicate balance of yin and yang, and the vital energy known as Qi that flows through the body and the fundamental principles of nourishing or clearing and being in right relation to the natural world. Rebecca was not only driven by academic success but also by a deep-seated passion to help others. She volunteered at local clinics, where she witnessed firsthand the profound impact of traditional healing methods.

Post-graduation, she interned with Ann Cecil-Sterman in Classical Chinese Medicine, gaining insights into the Channel system and the scope of what can be treated with this powerful medicine. She is also trained in Dr. Gabor Maté’s psychotherapeutic approach to resolving trauma called Compassionate Inquiry. A somatic healing approach that she often combines with her acupuncture treatments.

She saw patients with chronic pain conditions find relief, and those who had exhausted all other options discover hope again. Her dedication and empathy resonated within her treatments, and she quickly became known for her compassionate approach. Her holistic approach not only addressed physical ailments but also emphasized mental and emotional well-being, promoting overall harmony within the body. Most of her treatments include fire cupping, gua sha, Tui Na (Chinese massage) and acupuncture.

She specializes in women’s health treating conditions such as postpartum depression, hormonal imbalances, and fertility issues. Rebecca’s personal experiences as a mother enriched her understanding and empathy towards her patients, allowing her to connect on a deeper level. Additionally, she offers micro-needling and facial acupuncture, a great synergy because she is able to support the entire body with acupuncture while also treating skin concerns.
